It's been quite a while since we last showed our lovely faces here! :"> We've been inactive, but we managed to break the ice.



During Lunar New Year break, we had a cosplay project going on: Akito/Agito from Air Gear by Oh!Great.

~vouer is Akito.

And I, ~smilingmask is Agito.

I had the eyepatches and sweatshirts. Sk2 (~vouer) modified them with ribbons so that they looked more like the characters' costumes.



The first photoshoot was a disaster. It happened in my house, in my room, while my dad was around. We had to do something sneakily, and since there were nobody to help, we had to take pictures on self-timer as always. There wasn't enough light, so many pictures are blurry. The tripod was shaky, and the camera had to decide to go out of battery. The ribbons on our costumes often fell off.

The funniest part is that we're both myopic, but still had to cover our good eyes. Results: We two went fumbling all around like some blind beggards.

We enjoyed ourselves, still, and even had cat ears freestyles pictures taken.



The first photoshoot's pictures sucked so bad that we had to have a second one. We prepared a lot, hoping the results would be better.

Sk2 came to pick me up. We litterally ran away from my mom, went get some supplies, then flew straight to Sk2's friend, Meiji-chan's place. Meiji-chan's mom is a cosplay supporter, so we could enjoy ourselves.

This time, we did things much more seriously: multilayered makeup _{(by master Sk2 - I couldn't recognize myself xD)}, blue hairspray _{(which works so beautifully on Sk2 but not on me, since my hair is too long to be Agito anyway)}, and Sk2's new 10.1 px new camera totally beats my poor 5.0. We even had Sk2's friends, Meiji-chan and Taiko-chan to take our pictures.

Meiji-chan's house is such a nice spot and we took lot of pictures. To wrap up a successful photoshoot, we made a crazily funny Caramell Dansen video clip, which I would edit and upload if I got some free time.



The post-photoshoot grooming is the worst experience I've ever had. We had to wash our hair or we'd be stared at, but the hairspray refused to come off, and with water's help, spread all over our clothes! Even a few days after we still see blue when we wash our hair, and the smell lingered for about a week, but it's nice so we didn't really mind.

The costumes need serious washing, though.
